THE WAVERLY MARKET. ALL THIS IS FROM THE MARKET. LOOK AT THE ASPARAGUS. THE STRAWBERRIES. AN AMAZING ORCHARD. THESE FRENCH TULIPS. LOOK AT THESE LILACS. AND THEN THE STRAWBERRIES. WE ARE JUST DOING SOMETHING AS
SIMPLE AS FRENCH TOAST. WE HAVE THIS BEAUTIFUL LOCAL
BREAD. WE WILL CRACK A COUPLE EGGS IN
HERE. I KNOW YOU LIKE WHISKING. JEN: I CAN’T DO THE ONE HAND
CRACK BUT I CAN WHISK FOR YOU. CRACK ON A FLAT SURFACE. IF YOU CRACK ON A BOWL YOU GET
MORE OF A CHANCE OF GETTING THE
SHOW IN THERE. I ALWAYS PUT A LITTLE MELTED
BUTTER IN THE FRENCH TEST
BETTER. IT JUST MAKES IT A LITTLE MORE
RICH. — FRENCH TOAST BATTER. IT MAKES IT MORE RICH. I DON’T PUT A LOT OF SUGAR IN
THERE. IT HAS A SLIGHTLY MOLASSES
FLAVOR. IT IS LIKE BROWN SUGAR. WE ARE DOING SWEET HERE AND
SWEET HERE. YOU SHOULD NOT PUT A LOT OF
