Copper Strip Mollusk Test


Music This trial will measure how well copper products
repel mollusk pests. We used non-electrified 5 mil thick by 3 inch
wide copper at an ambient temperature of 68 degrees (F). Music Repeated tests confirmed that snails are repelled
by copper but slugs are not. Based on this trial we do not recommend copper

  1. its not that the slug wasnt effected, it was that the slug was too long.. put two of those pieces of tape side by side to make it wider or find a smaller slug… you'll see the same effect.

    Also, did it kill the snail> or did he just turn around?
