DYING MY HAIR SILVER… THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED😒 TRAGIC

everyone and welcome back to my channel
I am gonna dye my hair today and I have no idea how it’s gonna turn out the dye
I’m using today is this one it is the live brights colors it’s called steel
silver obviously I have bleached hair in the box it comes with 2 sachets of
conditioner which is quite nice and usually just comes with one and it also
comes with the color cream this is what my hair looks like when it’s down I have
just brushed through it quickly so I’m gonna do because I might end up speeding
past this up I’m gonna get sections of my hair I’m gonna try and paint it
freeze my fingers see if that works it’s like so thick but it’s really
difficult to spread it smells weird it smells like musky like a dog you know
like a wet dog that’s what it smells like so it’s kind of hard to start with doing
this but I’m just really trying to saturate all the hair with dye and then
I’m just gonna kind through it just to help get rid of any knots and it
hopefully will try and blend some of that color through okay so we are pretty
much done this as best as I can get it it might be a little bit patchy I don’t
know yet but it’s as best as I can get it and I’m fine with that
I’m gonna leave it on I reckon for about 15 to 20 minutes and then I’m gonna wash
it out and tell you show you what it looks like so this is the final outcome
I’m disappointed because I feel like I’ve wasted my time maybe there’s like a
slight shine on it that picks up its certain light nothing what it looks like
is I’ve toned my hair and that’s about it what a load of so this don’t even
bother it’s just a very very slight very slight change again it’s as if I’ve just
toned my hair there’s nothing major like it is not silver it’s definitely not
silver but I well it was an experiment we were just seeing if it works or not
and clearly it hasnt so yeah if you liked the video give it thumbs up make
sure you subscribe and I’ll see you in my next one

  1. I think it looks great! Better than that silver….next time try Prada Metallic Titanium Grey it’s amazing!

  2. EXACT SAME thing just happened to me! You basically need PAPER WHITE hair for it to work & that is no joke!! I realized in YouTube videos of hair salons & at home Silver dying doesn't actually show how TRUE the WHITE colors are in order to reach that Beautiful Silver look so many of us want! Different lighting shows us a achievable level of blonde but in REAL life it's VERY VERY WHITE, I cannot stress this enough. So unless you plan on bleaching your hair 2 / 3 & possibly even up to 4/5 ( depending on your hair color) or you can get professional help,But sadly silver is unrealistic without major damage for me & I have naturally strawberry blonde/ Gold hair 😭😭 I'm so sad it didn't work

  3. Exactly what happened to my daughter both this and the Pixie Lot silver didn’t work. Pixie lot one smells like Palmar Violets too 😆💜

  4. I put coconut oil through the ends of my hair always before I colour it. It keeps the hair conditioned and does not affect the hair absorbing the colour. A hairdresser told me those llive colours are the worst for not working well and ruining hair. Good tutorial shame about the product. You eye makeup is so pretty #tutorial ?

  5. I had the same problem when I used it. I got so disappointed. Especially since my past experiences with the brand has been amazing and stuff.

  6. I think it did an ok job considering it was only on for 20 mins and your hair was no where near light enough! You need to really saturate this sort of colour onto the hair. Love the shine! Might have to give this colour a go!

  7. Yep box dyes are a no-no for true, lasting color. Next time maybe do a good toner (Wella T18 or T20) with a 10vol developer beforehand, and pick a slightly heavier metallic silver dye (Ion Brilliance in Titanium or Pravana Vivids in Silver). The good thing about hair is you can almost always try again, barring black dye or overprocessing bleach.

  8. I think that your hair needs to be damp before applying the dye. I tried this shade a year ago and it worked really well, although the parts of my hair that were really bleached out (almost white) looked a little purple, but it looked really cool. Also after dying it silver my hair stayed like that for really long, and even when it washed out it was still a cool tone, and the darker parts of my hair got a few shades lighter too, which I really liked.
