AFTER SEARCHING FOR NEARLY 50 YEARS–POLICE believe THEY FINALLY FOUND THE GOLDEN STATE KILLER. CALIFORNIA POLICE ARRESTED A 72- YEAR-OLD FORMER COP TODAY. JOSEPH JAMES DEANGELO IS SUSPECTED OF COMMITTING 12 MURDERS, 45 RAPES AND BREAKING INTO MORE THAN 100 HOMES IN CALIFORNIA IN THE 1970’S AND 1980’S. NEW DNA TECHNIQUES HELPED LEAD INVESTIGATORS TO DEANGELO. THE MASKED RASPIST WAS KNOWN FOR BREAKING IN TO HOMES WHILE SINGLE WOMEN OR COUPLES WERE SLEEPING, HE WOULD TIE UP THE MAN AND PILE DISHES ON HIS BACK, THEN RAPE WOMEN WHILE THREATENING TO KILL THEM BOTH IF THE DISHES TUMBLED. .
