How To Adjust A Casio Slide Clasp

Hi. My name’s John. I’m from www.thewatchhut.co.uk Today I’m going to show you how to adjust a Casio watches sliding clasp. We have had quite a few emails and requests to find out how this is done. So I’m going to show you. First of all we need to find something of a similar size to this watch tool. Go to the clasp, note where the arrow is Place the implement in to the hole and lift. Now you can move the clasp up and down. When you are happy it’s in the right place you press down, hard on the clasp. so now, that watch is adjusted.

  1. Hey guys! I just found a solution to the problem I had mentioned related to 0:42. Just use nosed pliers to close the clasp! Hope it'll work now 🙂

  2. OMG GOD BLESS YOU!! MY BOYFRIEND GOT ME A WATCH AND I HAVE REALLY SMALL WRIST AND WAS BUMMED THAT IT DIDNT FIT AND I THOUGHT I COULDNT ADJUST IT!!!

  3. Im so thin i have the same watch from the video(casio650b) with an adjustable clasp the problem is the clasp already reached the maximum adjusting point when i wear it still doesnt fit for me because im too thin for it. Can a casio650b watch’s link can be removed ?

  4. Thanks for the video. Is there a way to actually remove links to shorten the tailpiece? I'm a skinny old man and there are a lot of extra links that I find an annoyance. Thanks.

  5. Sir can you please tell how to inbox a Casio watch from its case b'coz it is locked inside the case very badly. Please sir please tell…..

  6. Thank you for uploading this video, I was struggling to find the way (although simple) and you explained it so easily!

  7. Guys if you’re in a pinch and cant find any similar tools – Sharp knives/sewing needles work well. Of course use with caution, your clasp could be rusted shut or just plain stuck, so a tiny bit of force might be necessary.

  8. I've had two watches with the clasp, first had no issue, the clasp was tough to open and shut for adjustment but I could do it barehanded.
The second was almost impossible to open barehanded (needed to use a tiny lever), it was even harder to shut! I found a comment that recommended pliers and I can testify that it worked for me, just make sure you use a cloth inbetween the clasp/watch and pliers so there is no scratch. Use a sort of pinch and pull motion with the pliers, as if you were using them to pinch and stretch play dough.
