How to Draw a Silver Ring With a Heart

How to Draw a Silver Ring With a Heart

Hello my friends and welcome
to another Tuesday of tutorial! I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today
we will draw a ring. We start by sketching an oval
with loose strokes from the shoulder. We draw the shape
and the width. I am using a mechanical pencil
with a led of medium softness… an HB, on a paper that is not
totally white but a little bit gray. The complete list of materials
is in the information bellow the video. This ring will have a heart. I correct the shape
because is a little bit too wide seen from this angle. We start shading…
and doing some reflections. If I was doing a drawing
like for product design I could leave all the sketch lines
but in this case I erase them because I want to end up
with something more realistic. It is a silver ring therefore
it should have very contrasting reflections, dark and light. I refine the shape
a little bit better. Normally I don´t mention
the things that sometimes I got through to make the tutorials
but today I will tell you… Recently I have been
a little busy, as usual. In these last few days
I arrived from Moscow to two Ucrainian cities,
Kiev and Kharkov. In Kharkov I delivered
two talks, one of them at the State University
which is beautiful. From Kharkov I went back to Kiev,
for some meetings about future artistic events. Then I flew to London
and directly from the airport took a bus
to go to the city of Bath, next morning, in Bath
I recorded this drawing leaning on a shelf,
and in the afternoon and evening, I had a visit
to the Bath University, next day I went back to London
to attend some commitments and then I took another flight
for my next destination, during the flight
I edited the images of this video, by the way in parentheses,
I give some required reflections with white pastel to the ring. And having arrived
late that night I am recording the English
version that you are listening to, and also
the Spanish version for my other channel
¨Arte Divierte¨. In a few moments
I will choose the music and edit the sound
to then upload it so that you can have it
on Tuesday, as usual. I really hope you enjoyed it!
If that is the case please give it a LIKE,
share it to your friends and subscribe to this channel. And I will see you on Tuesday.
