MBMMLLC.com: Scrapping reversing valves for brass and copper with a hammer mill

We have had a request to try some of these reversing valves down through our hammer mill. and I think these things come off air conditioning units. it’s essentially copper brass chamber with steel inside. They are a real pain to get the steel out by hand and requires a lot of grinding. We are going to throw them down our hammer mill with a 3/8ths screen. I have a hopper on there, kinda of a experimental thing we are going to try. Once it goes in there you are completely protected. There is no open or close doors like we have on some of our other videos. We will try this one out today and see what happens with these reversing valves Here are the results of our reversing valve test. Here is the brass, I just hand sorted the brass and the copper See its all nice clean brass no steel or copper in there here is the pile of the copper pieces I pulled out and here is the steel I pulled out with a magnet That’s the reversing valves through a 3/8ths hammer mill screen. I think it worked pretty well, we got three clean cuts there The value is worth way more now than as a whole reversing valve Thanks for watching and stay tuned fro more videos Don’t forget to comment, like and subscribe and we will see you on the next one, thanks.
