There are so many fabulous things about
the Wilmington area. Obviously, like most people, the water drew me to the area, but
there’s so much to do. It’s a great place to raise a family.
We love going to the beach. We love boating. We love the lifestyle that
Wilmington allows us to have. I got my license in 1994. I moved down here the
day after I graduated from college and was originally planning on staying here
for a year and going back to school, but like so many other people, I stayed. I
think honesty and integrity is very important in this business. I think it’s
one of the reasons my team has been so successful. I’ve assembled an amazing
group of like-minded individuals. We’re one of the top teams in our marketplace.
We’ve worked very hard to get there. Statistically, we sell more homes at a
higher price and in a shorter period of time than the average agent in our
marketplace. We’re honest. We’re hard-working. We do what we say we’re
going to do. We have a 28-step marketing plan in place to make sure we’re getting
our clients the best exposure we can possibly get on social media on the
internet. We have professional photographers that
we use for all of our homes. We integrate aerial photography, video – to get it sold
quickly and for the highest price. We help buyers and sellers in the
tri-county area from the Topsail – Surf City area all the way down to Brunswick
County, including Hampstead, Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina, Kure Beach,
and Leland. We work with all types of clients. We love our first-time
home buyers. We deal with investors a lot – people that are empty nesters looking
for their retirement home or their dream home on the water. In my own personal spare time, I train
for triathlons and it really translates, I think, into the real estate world
because it’s a very competitive sport. It requires a lot of endurance, a lot of
discipline, and hard work. The dedication that I use in doing my best in
triathlons, I can relay that over into real estate. Ginger: I knew I wanted Melanie as
my Realtor because I saw her perseverance as a athlete. She follows the
program, she sees the results, and I knew if she did that with her fitness that
she was gonna be the person to be able to sell our house. Crystal: She’s very
knowledgeable. She knows the area. She really listens to what you need and

we’re her only clients. Frank: The whole process was very easy, relaxed. I’m an anxious
person by nature and I didn’t have a bit of anxiety at all. Mark: It’s about the
fifth house we purchased and it was by far the smoothest and easiest. Kam: So easy. Mark: I mean,
she did everything for us. The closing went smooth, probably the only purchase we
