The Golden State Warriors were expected to be a force in the western conference this year, the Houston Rockets were not. Led by MVP favorite James Harden the Rockets have once again established themselves as a contender in the West and will look to slow down the red-hot Dubs in Friday’s NBA action. After losing five of seven games without the injured Kevin Durant around, the Warriors are riding a nine-game winning streak into the contest while covering the spread seven times in that span. Golden State’s dominance over Houston goes way back, as the Warriors are a fantastic 18 and three straight up in their last 21 with the Rockets. Under bettors have been loving the Warriors of late and for good reason. Steve Kerr’s club have gone under the total in 11 of their last 12 games. Golden State beat Houston earlier this week on Tuesday where both teams combined for 219 points to go well under the closing 234 number. The Rockets and Warriors always see sky-high totals when they get together so the under looks like the top play to me here. Dedicated OddsShark Twitter follower and friend of the show Steph Curry has spearheaded the late-season charge for the Warriors by averaging 26 points during their winning streak yet he’s failed to follow me back on my personal Twitter account so I’m not completely impressed with his performance yet. Once again that’s @scampbellTV1 Steph. Shooters shoot.
