Needle tatting. Bracelet with intertwining rings / Фриволите иглой. Браслет из переплетающихся колец

Hello and welcome to Hobby Point channel. My name is Anastasiya. Today I’ll show you how to needle tat such a bracelet made of intertwining rings and chains. It might seem difficult, but it’s made of very easy elements. As usual, all the needed supplies are mentioned in the video description below. I’m going to use 2 different colors. The “frame” will be made of grey thread. Leave quite a long tail and tat 7 stitches, a picot, 5 stitches. As usual, I’m leaving a link to my video lesson on tatting basics for those who’ve come for the 1st time to my channel. The link is at the top right corner or in the video description. Make small picots, of about 2 mm. Close the ring, reversing your work. Now let’s make a chain. Tat 5 stitches, a picot, 5 stitches. Close the chain, reversing your work. Let’s make another ring and join it to the 1st one. Make 5 stitches. Make a join. Then tat the remaining 10 stitches, a picot, 5 stitches. Close the ring, reversing your work. Repeat the chain. Make another ring as the previous one, joining them after the first 5 stitches. Keep alternating chains and rings so that you have 12 rings in total. Including the 1st small ring. And 12 chains. Now we should make another small ring as in the very beginning. Tat 5 stitches, make a join and tat 7 stitches more. Close the ring. This time do not reverse your work. Now make a chain: 4 stitches, a picot, 4 stitches. Close the ring, not reversing your work again. Now we should tat symmetrical elements. Close the ring, reversing your work. Make a chain and join it to the symmetrical chain. Close the ring, reversing your work. Make a ring, joining it to the previous one. Keep alternating chains and rings till the end of the row. At the end of the row we should make another small ring. Close the ring, not reversing your work. Make the last chain. A similar chain to the one on the other side. Join the chain to the very first ring and tie a knot. Cut the threads. Hide them into the nearby stitches. I had to add more thread in the middle of the project, so I need to hide the thread there too. Carefully cut the ends off. Here’s what I’ve got. Take the other thread. Leave a small tail. Tat 20 stitches. Close the ring, reversing your work. Now we should make a split ring. Tat 6 stitches. Unthread your needle and turn it so that the needle eye points to the left. Using the thread tail tat 6 stitches in the reverse order – make the 2nd half of the stitch first, then – the 1st one. Turn your needle so that the eye points to the right again and thread the needle. Close the ring, reversing your work. Now we should make a usual ring of 20 stitches. Cut the threads and hide them into the nearby stitches. Put this piece aside for now. Make a ring of 20 stitches. Close the ring, reversing your work. Make a chain of 24 stitches. Close the ring, reversing your work. Make a ring. Tat 25 stitches for that. Now we should make symmetrical elements. We will need 4 pieces of such elements. We will also need 2 such pieces. As you can see here there are no rings of 20 stitches. Tat 24 stitches and place a pin to hold the loop at the beginning of the chain. Then make a ring and a chain. Unthread your needle and cut the ball thread, leaving a tail of about the same size as the other thread. Now let’s put all the pieces together. Find the middle of your bracelet and follow my moves. Thread your needle with one of the thread tails and join the chain to the chain with a pin. Now we should make a split ring. Make 10 stitches on each side. Pull your needle through the stitches, but do not close the ring yet. First you should pull the chains to the back side of your bracelet. Now close the ring. Join the ring to the chain of the “frame” and tie a knot. Cut the thread and hide the ends into the nearby stitches. Complete the other side of the bracelet in the same way. Here’s what I’ve got. All I need to do now is attach a clasp to one side, and an extender chain to the other. That’s it, our bracelet is ready! I hope you’ve enjoyed the video. If it’s so, hit the like button below. 4. Lovely. Please share some more layered tatted jewelry tutorials. I plan to add seed beads and crystals to this bracelet and your matching earrings. I like the stiffness of the tatting. What size yarn or thread are you using and what is the brand?
