Spot Gold Prices for 2-13-2014

Hello my name is Chuck Dougherty and this
is the Spot Gold Prices Daily Wrap-up. The Spot Gold prices for Thursday the 13th
of February saw Gold prices opening at around $1,289.20. More soft economic data coupled with continued
physical buying demand kept things looking good for gold on Thursday with prices seeing
highs we haven’t seen since last year. Normally investors often jump on either commodities
or equities depending a lot on which has the perceived strength at the time but Thursday
saw investors split and this was good for both the stock market and gold prices as both
saw gains. We had a tiny bounce to the low of around
$1,287.40 before the start of normal US trading hours but from there prices mostly climbed.
Not long before the end of the day we saw the high of around $1,306.50 and we ended
the day at around $1,305.60. This resulted in a nice gain in the price of gold of around
$16.40. The gold bull’s will eye the next milestones
of $1,310 and $1,325. If they can bust through these resistance levels than we should see
$1,350 not long after. Thank you for watching this is Chuck Dougherty
