Spot Gold Prices for 3-10-2014

Hello my name is Chuck Dougherty and this
is the Spot Gold Prices Daily Wrap-up. The Spot Gold prices for Monday the 10th of
March saw Gold prices opening at around $1,334.10. Monday was a much better day for gold bull’s
after a dip in price over the last 2 trading days. You had a few reasons for this bounce
back and that is investors buying on dips as well as continued and additional global
turmoil. People turn to gold when there is uncertainty and right now there is plenty
of that to go around. Just take China alone, they have weak economic data showing a slowdown
in their economy with exports dropping by a sizeable 18%, the threat of potential conflict
with Japan and now with North Korea as China seems to be tireing of that guy’s crazy actions.
Add in the Ukraine and issues in Thailand and global investors start looking for some
kind of safety from all that mess. Gold prices dipped down to the day’s low of
around $1,331.50 before the start of normal US trading hours but prices rose from there
up to the high of around $1,344.10. From there we ended the trading day at around $1,341.50
which resulted in a gain in the price of gold of around $7.40. Thank you for watching this is Chuck Dougherty
