The One Day Of The Week You Should Shop At Aldi

The One Day Of The Week You Should Shop At Aldi

For more than 40 years, Aldi has delivered
high-quality products at ridiculously low prices, but the chain is also known for introducing
specialty items that fly off the shelves almost as quickly as they come in. If you don’t want to miss out on these one-time
only products and make sure you’re taking advantage of the lowest prices Aldi has to
offer, we’re letting you in a shopping hack revealed by Aldi’s corporate headquarters. The best day of the week to shop at Aldi is… Drumroll please… Wednesday! Yes, in most markets, Wednesday is the best
day of the week to head to the stores because that’s when Aldi rolls out its newest items
at the best prices. We’re talking 40 to 50 new specialty items
packing the shelves at your local stores. These limited-stock items are known as Aldi
Finds and if you want them, you better show up early. Aldi sends in only a certain number of each
item and once those items from the Aldi Finds section are gone, they’re gone forever. Aldi says these items are ordered months in
advance and there is no way to predict how popular an item will be, so what they get
is it. And you honestly never know what’s coming
next in the Aldi Finds section. They stock their shelves with items for all
aspects of living from camping gear and home design to car accessories and kitchen gadgets. Seasonal items are also a big perk. You might find great sales on college dorm
decor and lunchboxes for back to school. Or fun pool floats in the summer. Holiday season also brings gifts with prices
that seem too good to be true. Aldi Vice President Scott Patton says the
reason the store is able to offer these quality product lines at such low prices is because
the “…suppliers focus on producing the single
best item they can, keeping costs low by not making multiple varieties of the same item
itself.” There is one hack to give yourself a leg up,
though: Aldi posts all of their weekly ads on their website, so you’ll know what kind
of Finds to expect that week before you get there, allowing you to plan your strategy. Don’t be surprised if Aldi puts a limit on
how many you can buy, though. If an item is selling extremely well and they
don’t want to run out too early, Aldi says each store has a right to impose a buying
limit. After all, their prices are unbelievably tempting. “It’s hard to believe what they say about
Aldi.” “Believe it!” “Really?” “Believe it!” There is one glimmer of hope if you stumble
upon an Aldi Find that you just can’t live without, though: Some Finds are put on the
shelves as test items to see how well they do. Those items that sell well may be added permanently
to Aldi shelves. Still, there’s no way to know that in advance,
so if there’s a Find coming that you just have to have, set your alarm and get there
early. Sales wait for no one. Aldi Finds aren’t the only reason to hit up
the German-born store on Wednesdays, either. Eat This, Not That shared inside secrets from
an Aldi employee who said that on Wednesdays shoppers can take advantage of the, quote,
“produce picks of the week.” Pineapples are a prime example of produce
that gets marked down, and you can score one for only $1. If you’re an avocado fan, you’ll definitely
want to head to the store on Wednesday where you might find them on sale for just 69 cents
each. Think of how much toast spread you can make! “Oh yummy! Elmo loves toast! Yay!” Before you put your car in drive and speed
on over to the nearest Aldi, remember a couple things: First, bags at Aldi aren’t free, so
make sure you stockpile your own supply of bags to bring with you. “Honey, where are all the bags?” “In the bag hutch!” “No s—!” And, if you live in a rural area, instead
of Wednesday, your new items may actually roll out on Sundays. Be sure to call your nearest store to confirm
whether you’ll need to skip church to get that discount lawn chair. It’ll be heartbreaking if you miss out on
these amazing products because you showed up too late. Check out one of our newest videos right here! Plus, even more Mashed videos about your favorite

  1. Ad comes out u get there just as they open on wednesday out of stuff listed in the ad that starts on wednesday. Waste of time.

  2. I LOVE ALDI's and have bought a number of special purchases that I've been thrilled with.

However, I am very offended by the line in this ad toward the end said I think as a joke, "You might have to miss church to pick up one of the special items on Sunday that you would want." Really not appropriate for an ad.

  3. I rather shop in Publix Aldi is Aright but for the price you get is super small quantity in Publix I get way more with the same price so for me aldi is a joke

  4. If you are a cheap skate like me than go to Aldi where you get good prices on food and drinks and your wallet will thank you for it.

  5. I used to love Aldi, even some of their food products tasted not as good as competition's. Now Aldi became more mainstream with higher prices. Now I only shop there for specific seasonal items that could have low prices. And nonfood items were always of low quality.

  6. Tip off. Pay for a cart to use and bring your own bags and this store is no cheaper than dillions or wallymart. As a fact wallymart and dillions are cheap er. And better food.

  7. Bring 25 cents a quarter for a carriage and i always forget to bring my own grocery bags Aldi sells them plastic bags for 10 cents each and seven cents for paper bags . 🤔

  8. Honestly, it depends on the store, at the ones around me, even though the ad will say Wednesday, they usually put that stuff out Sunday, so if you show up Wednesday it will most likely be picked over already

  9. Since when can you call them? Did they finally change that? In 40 yrs I've never been able to call the store! Well…I haven't bothered in awhile…😉b You forgot to mention your quarter for a cart! They had these wonderful triple chocolate sundae cones for years. And I mean TRIPLE CHOCOLATE. Only in summer. My fam and some people I told and even the ladies working there would buy them up. Less than $3 for 6. IDK why they didn't make them regular. They could make a fortune off those. Best I ever tasted. Now I can't find them at all. Wish they had more open hours too. Thankyou be for the tips.🎃

  10. We love ALDI in my household!! I love their candles which are exactly like the bath and body works candles but for only 3.99!!

  11. the uncoolest item I found is a month old ham still selling at one Aldi I went to. Not looking at the dates and I found out it tasted funky and smell foul. Saw that it was expired for a month.

  12. Lucky me I live in Germany and here they have the special items twice a week. They do the same for food like Greece or Italian or US week 😄

  13. We shop just once a month we buy almost all our dairy there, we buy 4 gallons of milk and freeze it, same with butter stock up and freeze it, the prices cant be beat and the milk is good, my grand daughter doesn't normally drink store bought milk she's use to fresh off the farm raw milk and she actually drank the milk from ALDI'S even her mother was shocked and I was impressed, produce depending on the day can sometimes be iffy but most times pretty good and lately the grapes are excellent, ive been buying 2 bags at a time one to eat fresh the other to freeze, I love frozen grapes and these are fantastic and I'll have them all year even out of the season, you just can't beat ALDI'S.

  14. Hmmm skip church on Sunday to get the discounted items from Aldi??? Not a very smart idea lady! May be go to Aldi after church. Be wise shoppers! You can live without the discounted items. But you can't live without knowing what God is planning on saying to you!
