Under the Silver Lake Trailer #1 (2018) | Movieclips Trailers

Come on in! I saw you spying on me earlier. No, I wasn’t. Okay. See you tomorrow? Good. What the …? Who moves out in the middle of the night? Nothing strange about it. She wanted to leave. How does that not make sense? I don’t understand why she didn’t tell me. Maybe she didn’t like you. Maybe she knows you poor and haven’t paid your rent. I found some kinda code or like secret message in her apartment. It means, “Stay quiet.” Our world is filled with codes. Subliminal messages from Silver Lake to the Hollywood Hills. Could any of this be connected to Sarah? I know this girl. There’s a message in the music. Really think you’re gonna find a hidden message in a pop song? One, two, three. Can’t quite see it, but I’m close. Honey, how are you? Mom, I’m fine. Mostly fine. Why do we assume that all this information is what we’re told it is? Maybe there are people out there who are more important than us. More powerful. Communicating things in the world that are meant for only them and not for us. Yeah. Oh, you think that’s weird? A little. Welcome to Purgatory. Good to be here. You’re living in a carnival. Hoping to win a prize. What are you gonna win? Get down! Under the Silver Lake.

  1. This is such a strange and offbeat follow-up to It Follows, yet it retains that sort of mystery and pastiche style, which makes the transition impeccably seamless.

  2. At first I was like “No, she’s gonna be married, or it’s gonna be a horror movie”, but then I was happily wrong 🙂

  3. This movie has been on my watchlist since It Follows came out, but it is not the tone I expected… but I still excited! I hope it's great!

  4. Andrew got snub for his performance in Silence. The movie itself was snub and overlooked. If there was ever a remake of Psycho(a good one), they should cast him as Norman Bates.

  5. Not gonna lie, I lowered the volume because I was expecting a jumpscare when he was peeking through her windows 😂

  6. Wait a minute this is Paper Towns

Let me guess Andrew falls for Riley, she goes missing,he finds her and she doesn't feel the same.

  7. just because it's obnoxious and completely insane doesn't mean it's good. This trailer started out well, but lost me at the end.

  8. This is like The Number 23 meets Urban Outfitters……………I'll probably still watch it…………………..

  9. Probably going to see it just because Elvis Presley’s granddaughter is paying homage to Marilyn Monroe with that pool scene.

  10. Ok, so basically, dude reads signs where there are none and goes into an acid trip stalking his one night stand.

  11. Andrew Garfield is really good with these kind of "weird but lovable" characters, but this plot reminds me of 23

  12. Excellent film noir style LA movie. Great cinema—the director/writer is mind-blowing creative and together with great filming and acting results in a fascinating movie.
