YouTube GOLD – BATTLE of the HOE’S – A GOLDEN SMILE (s2 e26) | RC ADVENTURES

– [RCSparks] Guys.
– Boss. – [RCSparks] We’re gettin’ towards the end of the season, yeah? – Oh yeah.
– Oh yeah. – It’s startin’–
– Winter is coming. – [RCSparks] It’s startin’
to get cold out there, and our final push for
four ounces is on, yeah? – Yup. – [RCSparks] Today I
want us to do something that we don’t really do often, but I think will help us reach our goal. All right guys, bring your hats in. (hats clunk) Pray to the Gold Gods
that we get four ounces. One, two, three– – [All] YouTube GOLD! – [RCSparks] Get to work. – [Kevin] Booyah! (machines hum) – [RCSparks] Ahh, it’s brisk today! – [Krazy Joe] Other one. – [RCSparks] SluiceBox Lyle! – Good day sir, how are ya? – [RCSparks] Good, buddy, I need you to scoop the leaves
out of the pond please. (water splashes)
– Oh yeah, all over it. – [RCSparks] Get all that out
so our pump can get fired up. – [SluiceBox Lyle] Got that workin’ Joe? – [RCSparks] Whew! (wind bellows)
– That one’s workin’. – [RCSparks] Only one side again, hey? The curse of the bad wiring. – Oh!
– There it goes! – [Krazy Joe] Keep comin’! (water babbles) – [RCSparks] Just, it
takes a little longer to get primed up for some reason. – [Krazy Joe] Just gotta
wiggle that one right. – [RCSparks] Yeah, exactly. Nice, Dozer on set. So, last episode we ended
off with a small snowstorm that dumped about how
many inches of snow, boys? – Like seven feet! – [RCSparks] Hey! – [Guys] Hey! – [RCSparks] Thanks for
kickin’ (honk) today! – Whoop!
– YouTube GOLD! – [RCSparks] YouTube GOLD! (laughing) It’s still
melting off to the sides, we’re lucky to have dug out the mine site. We’re gonna have to stay
out of the glory hole! It’s just simply too wet.
– Oh, yeah. – We’re not goin’ in Joe’s hole today? – [RCSparks] No, gotta
stay out man, (laughs) it’s way too moist.
– Sorry Joe. We’re not goin’ in your hole. – [RCSparks] You’re gonna
have mud stickin’ to tracks everywhere, so– – Man, the only other
ground we haven’t touched is over there by Oblong. – You mean this mound?
– Yeah. – At least the sun’s hittin’ it. we could push the side of that out and load it and run it. – [RCSparks] Well we didn’t
get the hopper fixed, right? – No.
– So the hopper’s not fixed from, I didn’t
get the part in in time. (creaking) Put a brushless in. (moaning) That’s not good. That sounds terrible. So we have to load
straight with an excavator instead of the loader. That means I don’t have an
excavator for the, here. – Just push it with the dozer and then load it with the loader. – [Kevin] Yeah, that’d work. – [RCSparks] Side push it outta here? – Just pull it.
– Just keep scrapin’ – This is all virgin ground right here. – [Kevin] Yep. – [RCSparks] I like that idea. – [Krazy Joe] Just push it
outta the way with the dozer. Just don’t knock Oblong over. – [RCSparks] Then load
it up with the loader. – [Krazy Joe] Then load
it with the loader. – I still want it to go
– Then I can use – through the screening plant.
– the hole up there. – [RCSparks] Screening
plant needs to be used. We need to still filter
all this stuff out. So let’s bring it over here. It’s battle of the excavators today. Yeah, battle of the hoes! – Whoop! – [RCSparks] Good, who are you? – It’s Kevin. – [RCSparks] You’re not Kevin, nice! Nice, who are you? – Kevin. – [RCSparks] Where’s your beard? – Had to shave it. – [Krazy Joe] Hey, that’s Jim. – [RCSparks] I think his name is Jim. – You know Jim from– – [RCSparks] We’re callin’
you Jim from now on. – Nope.
– From John Deere? – Nope.
– Jim from John Deere. – Nope.
– That’s your new name. – [Krazy Joe] All right,
Jim from John Deere, let’s go with that loader. – [RCSparks] Thank you, SluiceBox Lyle. – No problem, man. – Fire up the generat–
(generator rumbles slowly) – [Rookie] Fire up! – [RCSparks] Water on! (roaring motor) (groans) Is this plugged in? (metal clattering loudly)
Yeah! Here comes the water! – [Jim-aka Kevin] There
goes the water, nope. – [RCSparks] You know what? Let’s actually take these
bars out and clean ’em. – [Rookie] Take ’em out and clean ’em? – [RCSparks] Yeah, lets take out these and get some good pressure ’cause we gotta lotta
stuff in there still. We can just pop these out here and here. (clicking) So the pump pumps water up straight from the fresh water pond, but what happens is
these drill holes we made in the top spray bars,
they get clogged easy. So Rookie and I are just drilling (drill squeals) out the holes to make it nice and easy. We’ve already sprayed inside with air. – [Rookie] We’ll have to spray her again. There’s a lot of mud in here. – [RCSparks] Yeah, yeah, gets built up. – [Rookie] We call it a fresh water pond; it’s not that fresh. – [RCSparks] Nope. Can you play me a little
tune on that thing, or what? – I doubt it. (orchestral
flute music erupts) (grunting) Nope. It’s not a good musical instrument. – [RCSparks] You look great blowin’ pipe. – Kinda looks like a flute though. (Rookie murmurs) – [RCSparks] Okay Rook! Fire it up, buddy! (water babbles and engine roars up) – [Rookie] Give it a minute. – [RCSparks] Oh, it’s
beautiful, beautiful! – [Rookie] Oh, heck yeah! – That’s a lot of water.
– That’s beautiful. The generator’s too
close to the mine site! Everyone’s gonna complain about noise! (grunts) – Mines are noisy. – It’s better! – [Krazy Joe] Okay, perfect. (clattering forcefully) – [RCSparks] Good to go,
or you need some pay! – [Krazy Joe] I need some pay! I’m not movin’ anything right now. (engine purrs loudly) That’s a lotta ground there! – [RCSparks] Okay, you cut a fair ways in, I want to take a pan. Here, put it in the pan! (murmurs) (water trickles) – [Rookie] Come on,
let this be a good pan. – [RCSparks] We’re gonna
need it if we’re gonna get to our four ounces. – [Rookie] Yep. – Come on!
– Come on! – [RCSparks] There’s gotta
be somethin’ in there. – [Rookie] Big money! – [RCSparks] Please be gold! Yeah baby! (hootin’ and hollerin’) There it is, it’s there! Whoop, there it is! (laughing) Hey we got gold! There’s another one! – Yep.
– Three color. – [Krazy Joe] I told you there was– – There’s three, ah sweet!
– gold in that ground. – Okay, let’s dig there.
(group exclaims excitedly) You keep pushing, we’ll
start movin’ the dirt. – Let’s run it!
– Let’s run it. (hootin’ and hollerin’)
(laughing) – YouTube GOLD baby!
– YouTube GOLD baby! – [Krazy Joe] Whoop! (engine rumbles) – [RCSparks] So he’s
gonna keep cutting away. We got a little bit of pay left over from last week that we can run. We had to close up early
because of the snow. So we’re gonna fire up
the top red trommel. (engine rumbles and squeals) Whoa, stop! I got in trouble for
not having mirrors out! You gotta be able to see
behind you from now on! I don’t know why, somebody was complaining that it didn’t make sense. – [SluiceBox Lyle] There’s
no one behind me though. – [RCSparks] It doesn’t matter. – [SluiceBox Lyle] I guess I need to see to be able know that
there’s one behind me. – [RCSparks] Exactly! (engine roaring) Whoa! Stop! Stop, stop! There’s no flag on the end of the trommel! Didn’t we learn our lessons already? – [Rookie] Yeah, well we forget quickly. – [RCSparks] That’s true! (rumble) (yelling and screaming) – [SluiceBox Lyle] Shut it
down Rook, the conveyor– – [RCSparks] Shut down the conveyor! Holy Perfect! – [Rookie] Whatever you say (slurs). – [RCSparks] I have some tape! – [Rookie] You got some tape? – [RCSparks] Maybe. – [Rookie] There! Don’t hit that, don’t hit that! – [SluiceBox Lyle] All right! (engines rumbling deafeningly) – [Jim-aka Kevin] A little too far back. – [RCSparks] Yeah, there ya go,
pull forward and up it goes! – [Jim-aka Kevin] You gotta go (murmurs). – [RCSparks] Yeah, I know, you gotta be– – [Jim-aka Kevin] E-brake. – [RCSparks] You gotta
be a professional at it and start dumpin’ it
while drivin’ forward. – [SluiceBox Lyle] Oh, okay. Yeah, it keeps stickin’. – [Jim-aka Kevin] There ya go! – [RCSparks] Whoa, back
up, back up, back up! (laughs) (engine roar fluctuates) Whoa, gently gently gently! – [SluiceBox Lyle] Never! – [RCSparks] Listen, these
trucks aren’t cheap, you know? – [SluiceBox Lyle] She likes it rough. (laughs maniacally) – [Krazy Joe] Oh no! (yelling) – [RCSparks] What happened! – [Krazy Joe] Dozer down. – [RCSparks] Shut it
off, shut off your pump. What happened? I didn’t even see it. – [Krazy Joe] I just got flipped over by the tree root there. (engines roar) I got flipped over by the root. – [SluiceBox Lyle] That makes no sense! – [RCSparks] No, it doesn’t. Bring in the other dozer. We’ll flip you back onto your track. (engine pounds steadily) Okay, we’ll fire up the other dozer. I’m gonna try and tip it back
as Joe backs up on his track. And we’ll try to roll it back over. Stuff’s startin’ to
break down in the cold. – Ready?
– Oh, I smell it. – [Rookie] I smell somethin’,
it doesn’t smell good. – Yeah, I smell somethin’ bad. – Yeah, we may have shorted it. I wonder what it touched. – [Rookie] It looks good though. – [RCSparks] Yeah, but
you and I both smelled it. – [Rookie] Yeah, I can totally smell that. – [RCSparks] And that
ESC is not lookin’ good. – [Rookie] No. Darn it! – [RCSparks] Hey, you know– – [Rookie] Now what? – [Krazy Joe] We could just flip it over and pretend nothin’ happened. – [RCSparks] Hey! Okay, so we’re two dozers down. Right away, right out of the gate. – [Rookie] That’s horrible! – [RCSparks] I don’t know what
happened to the second one other than something was shorting in there and we smelled the blue smoke. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Ugh! – [Rookie] When you can
smell the magic smoke, it ain’t good.
– Yeah. – [RCSparks] so we only
have two excavators and a rock truck. And I think what we
should do is hook a chain to the rock truck and
try to flip the dozer. But we’re gonna have to
get the rock truck up top. – [Rookie] Have you got
a long enough chain? Could you throw it right over the hill? – [RCSparks] Exactly! – [Rookie] That’s the only safe way. – [RCSparks] Exactly! – [SluiceBox Lyle] Tell
me, do you want me to go up this way, or do you want
me to go the long way? – [RCSparks] First thing I
want is for you to go up there and get loaded up with
a little bit of pay dirt so you got some weight in
the back of your truck. – Gotcha, where am I gettin’ it from? – [RCSparks] Just right
where you dumped it up there. We got a shovel for you. – Okay. – [Krazy Joe] Here, give me that truck. – [SluiceBox Lyle] Here,
you operate the shovel. – [Krazy Joe] No, you’re loading it. – You’ve earned the shovel, either that or go stand on your rock. – [RCSparks] Okay, take the
dump truck up to the top. We need to get some pay in
there and get this done. – [Krazy Joe] And that
is our rescue chain. (murmuring) (singing) – Flipper should be
doin’ this. (murmuring) He get out of it ’cause he was a senior? That’s bull (honk). Sandal wearin’ (mumbles) (honk) (murmuring) – [SluiceBox Lyle] (chain
rattles) What one’s it look like– – [RCSparks] We’re gonna
put it around here. – [Rookie] You’re gonna
put it around there? (murmuring) – [RCSparks] Just hook it right to itself. And then since we don’t have enough chain, we’ll use some wire. – [Rookie] What do we got here? – Here, I got some wire.
– Not enough chain, yep. – That’s good.
– Now you’re talkin’. – [RCSparks] Mechanic’s
wire, bailing wire. – [Krazy Joe] When all else fails. – [RCSparks] Yep, straight
through on the back. – [SluiceBox Lyle] Nice. – [RCSparks] Yep, we’ll get ‘er. Don’t move your tracks yet. Just let him try to pull you. Pull. Yep, back up, Joe. There ya go, more! – Wow!
– Yeah! (hootin’ and hollerin’) Good job, boys!
(mumbles) Amazing, beauty! – [RCSparks] Good job! – [SluiceBox Lyle] Stop where ya are, Joe. – [RCSparks] And try to stay vertical now! – [Krazy Joe] Hey thanks, Sluice! – [SluiceBox Lyle] You’re welcome! – [RCSparks] Jim! I want you up at the top on
the excavator loading Big Red! – Okay, it’s Kevin, by the way. – [SluiceBox Lyle] I thought it was Jim. – Kevin! – [RCSparks] You don’t
look like Kevin to me! – [SluiceBox Lyle] Don’t look like Kevin! – [Krazy Joe] Can’t run
this ground right here. – [RCSparks] Yeah, look at that. We need a spill kit. This is the root, I take it, eh? Is that what flipped you? – [Krazy Joe] Yep. – [RCSparks] That’s a lot
of oil that spilled out. Got it! ~Shit, I don’t need everyone breathin’ down my neck for hydro (slurs). Hey, can I get some help here. Get the pad before it gets in there. Get it soaked in there. Can we get some help here,
instead of just watchin’ us? – [Rookie] I enjoy watching. – [Krazy Joe] Just tampin’ it down. – [RCSparks] Just gotta soak up the oil. – [Rookie] Wow, that’s a lot of oil, Joe. – [RCSparks] Jim, we need your help! – [Jim-aka Kevin] It’s Kevin! – [Rookie] Jim? – [Krazy Joe] Jim! – [Jim-aka Kevin] Kevin! – [Rookie] Turn your horn off. – [RCSparks] Why does
your horn keep going off. – [Rookie] Why is your horn going? – [RCSparks] That’s a
lot of oil, look at that. – [Krazy Joe] Yeah, that
actually is a lot of oil, man. – [RCSparks] We’re gonna need more. – [Krazy Joe] Yep! – [RCSparks] Yep, pull
these ones outta here. They’re obviously soaked. – [Krazy Joe] They’re contaminated. – Okay.
– Okay. – [RCSparks] Push ’em
down guys, team work! Get ’em in there, pads on! – [Jim-aka Kevin] Push! – [RCSparks] Pads on! – [Krazy Joe] Yep. – [SluiceBox Lyle] That’s right. – [RCSparks] Fuckin’
environmental disaster– – Where’s that shovel?
right here in the mine. – [Jim-aka Kevin] We
should pull up some dirt. – [SluiceBox Lyle] That’s a good idea. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Okay. – [RCSparks] Let’s pull these up now. – [Rookie] Yeah, get
this right outta here. – [RCSparks] That’s a good idea. Isolate it. – [Rookie] Ya gotta. – [RCSparks] There ya go. – [Rookie] Let’s start puttin’ it on ’em. – [RCSparks] Puttin’ it on them. Notice how Rookie’s using two hands, protecting his back
– Great job, buddy. – [SluiceBox Lyle] That’s
how you shovel, man. – [RCSparks] Great job. (engines roars) Yeah, did it fall down? The cable? – [Rookie] Yep. – [RCSparks] I can’t believe the electrical tape
didn’t keep it in place. (mine equipment roars) – [RCSparks] Here we go! Bucket after bucket. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Yeah baby! – [RCSparks] YouTube GOLD! (hootin’ and hollerin’) We wanna see four ounces! It’s too bad our hopper busted down. I should get the replacement
transmission for it just in time to shut the season down. These hoes are battling all day to see who can move more pay! – [Rookie] It’s a hoedown! – [RCSparks] It’s a hoedown! Funny. – Yeah, course. (roaring) – [RCSparks] Jim using an
extra large bucket today. That is a massive scoop! For a very small hopper. Good luck! I think the bucket is
wider than the hopper. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Oh yeah! – [RCSparks] Precise movements
with non-precise machine. Yeah buddy! (squeaking) You’re not supposed to crush that part! (metal grinds and roars) And as the dirt makes
it’s way up the conveyor, I can see it’s startin’ to
pile up here a little bit. But it’s pushing its way onto
the conveyor after the pileup. That’s not a bad thing. (banging and clanging) The auger continues to chew away. Beautiful! (deafening roar) We’re gonna knock out this top trap. A lot is stuck in there. A lot of people ask me why don’t I have a spray
bar inside of Little Red. That way all that would
just get washed down. And the answer is that
getting to the bearings in this machine is very difficult, so I would rather have
water everywhere else and not worry about seized
bearings every episode. (water babbles and roars) (machine grinds and thunders) (engine purrs) (engine hums) (gravel crunches) – Okay.
(wind bellows) – [RCSparks] Lyle, I’m gonna start havin’ you crush down
some rocks right now, so we can start getting a pile and distribute them evenly around. We need this crusher to be used and basically start making a
whole pad out in this area. Can you do that? – [SluiceBox Lyle] With
some instruction, yep. – [RCSparks] Excellent, sir. This is the radio that runs it. No it’s not, that’s the wrong radio. (laughing) (metal clatters incessantly) Thank you, sir. There’s the conveyor. Here’s the shaker table. I don’t have an extra excavator right now. Can you put down the radio for a second? I need you to make an
excavator claw with your hand. – [SluiceBox Lyle] Where’s the shovel? – [RCSparks] Uh, no,
you gotta use your hand. – [SluiceBox Lyle] Oh yeah? – [RCSparks] And can you
make a excavator noise? – [SluiceBox Lyle] Rookie
sucks at this (growls). – [RCSparks] Perfect. I don’t want dirt in there. I need rocks in there. Just these ones, a claw. I’ll help you. (machine clatters and clangs) (rhythmic puttering) (engine rumbles) Pay gets stuck away. Into the grizzly bars. Through the wash plant. (metal pounds) – [Rookie] The end of
the season is comin’. Everything’s cold and wet. – [RCSparks] Yeah, it’s
startin’ to freeze up. (clatters) Good aim, good aim. There’s no denyin’ that you’re
much better now, Rookie. – [Rookie] Sometimes. – [RCSparks] You’re a
professional Rookie now. – [Rookie] Well, I
would never go that far. (laughs) (deep rumbling) (wind bellows) (rhythmic clatter) – [RCSparks] This shaker
has been relentless washing gold after gold. Micro yardage of dirt every weekend. Bring us that gold, Rookie! – [Jim-aka Kevin] Look! – [RCSparks] You got a buildup? Oh ho! Nice! Right outta there. Right there you got a picker. – Oh yeah!
– Nice! – [Jim-aka Kevin] We’re
losin’ a lot all over– – [RCSparks] Whoa!
– Everything’s stickin’. – [RCSparks] This is losin’ a lot. We should process this. There’s gold right here! – [Jim-aka Kevin] Whoa! – Right there!
– We’re halfway losing. – [RCSparks] We’re losing
gold on the ground, boys! (groans) We gotta fix that problem. I think I just did by moving the conveyor. – [Jim-aka Kevin] That definitely helped! It’s all so sticky! – [RCSparks] Yeah,
everything’s very sticky. (engine purrs deeply) Joe continuing to hammer away. Sorting all the dirt, like sifting it into different categories,
makes it easier to process. (laughing and hollering) – [Jim-aka Kevin] Boss! – [RCSparks] What’s the matter? Oh! – [Jim-aka Kevin] All that pay! – [RCSparks] Okay, be care– – [Jim-aka Kevin] Look,
a gold right there. – [RCSparks] whoa, whoa, whoa! – [Jim-aka Kevin] Gold right there! – [RCSparks] Okay, there’s
gold on the ground, guys! – [Rookie] Pick it up
and put it back in there. (grinding and whirring) – [RCSparks] We lost
that belt last episode. Ever since we swapped it out
though, it’s been more quiet. Seemingly more powerful, but the cold is making
everything shrink up and leak, pour out from places it’s not supposed to. Let me just be straight about it. Everything is shriveling up. I love your dedication! – [Rookie] It’s gotta be done! – [RCSparks] It’s gotta be done! I want it all processed. – [Rookie] Let’s get all this gold! (rhythmic squeaking) – [RCSparks] SluiceBox Lyle! His station’s unmanned. Dude, we got a jam up! (vibrating and clattering) – [Rookie] Jammed or is it empty? – [RCSparks] I got it now, it was all jammed up ’cause
they had rocks in here. Where is that guy? Where is he? – [Jim-aka Kevin] Where the heck is he? Jim!
– What? – [RCSparks] Go find SluiceBox Lyle! – [Jim-aka Kevin] For the
last time, it’s Kevin! – [RCSparks] I can’t hear you! Geez, ya leave a guy in charge
of a whole machine like this and basically he lets down the operation by leaving it running and unmanned. Anybody coulda got caught
in here, look at it! This is actually breaking stone! – [Jim-aka Kevin] Yeah, especially if it’s not really loaded!
– Bro, you can’t leave a crusher running unattended on the site! It’s, I got a fine last
year, over five grand, just for him not wearing his safety straps and you left the whole crusher running? What if it jammed? – [SluiceBox Lyle] Joe said
he’d watch it. (laughs) – [RCSparks] Joe! Did you say you would watch this? – [Krazy Joe] Pretty sure
he said he would watch it! (machine purring) (deep base plays) (melodic music playing) (machine clatters and
dramatic music plays) – [RCSparks] Can you use the
trim adjuster, does that help? Oh, perfect! Like a champion. (loud whirring and roaring) Rookie! – [Rookie] Sir! – [RCSparks] I’m surprised
this hasn’t broken right off! It’s just holding on by those! (murmuring) I know! (laughs) Look at this! – [Rookie] It’s put in
a lot of work (mumbles)! – [RCSparks] Fatigue. – [Rookie] It doesn’t
know what’s hitting it. – [RCSparks] Yeah. (whirring gears and splashing water) Okay, finish up whatcha got! Lyle, you gotta move the crusher! The pile’s almost too high. (rhythmic clinking) Excellent! (loud engine rumbles) (squeaks) Okay boys, shut ‘er down! We’ve run through a lot of pay! – [Jim-aka Kevin] Whoop! – [RCSparks] Joe, yee-haw, baby! – [Krazy Joe] Yeehee! (laughing) – [RCSparks] Cleanup whatcha got! (water roars and engines purr) You’re too cool, baby! Holy cow, that wind is cold! (click) (engine putters and dies) (clattering) (clattering dies) What do ya see boys, anything? – [Jim-aka Kevin] Oh, we got some gold! – [Rookie] Oh, we got some gold. – [RCSparks] There’s some here. Oh yeah, nice, that’s a
nice piece right there. – [Rookie] Oh yeah! (hootin’ and hollerin’)
– Woo, baby! Yeah, uh oh. (murmurs) I got gold all the way
to the bottom though. – [SluiceBox Lyle] Look at that! – [RCSparks] Oh, yes! We have seen the sun.
– Got a nug! – [RCSparks] That is gorgeous! – Suck it up, still waitin’–
– I see it. for this to clear up a bit more. (water babbles) If I can just get this
big rock outta here. Bringin’ on the water,
SluiceBox. (murmurs) Number one! – [Jim-aka Kevin] One! – We got a gold here.
– Yep. – [RCSparks] (water drips) Oh good, I’m glad to see some gold at the top. Look at all the leaves everywhere. – [SluiceBox Lyle] Yeah,
look at all the mud that went down behind here. – [RCSparks] Yeah, oh!
– Oh! – [RCSparks] That’s a problem,
there’s gold back there too. That means we had gold
sliding behind the mat. – [SluiceBox Lyle] Did you get the back? I just saw a piece go down. – [RCSparks] Yeah, me too. – [SluiceBox Lyle] Let more water get in. – [RCSparks] Get this leaf out of here. Yeah, there’s a piece of
gold right off the bat. (murmuring) Rinse that mat real good and then you can get it outta the way. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Woohoo! My picka– – [Krazy Joe] It’s nice so
far, some is still here. – [RCSparks] Yeah, it’s nice, eh? – [SluiceBox Lyle] You
got all sorts of gold. – [RCSparks] I know, while the
sun’s gotta decide to hide. So goes our season, yeah.
– Soon as we’re washing gold. – [RCSparks] Jim, has
anyone ever told you, you look a lot like Kevin? – [Jim-aka Kevin] That’s
because I am Kevin. – [RCSparks] Kevin had a beard. (water trickles) – [Krazy Joe] Whoa, look at it right here! – [Jim-aka Kevin] Whoa oh! Oh nice one.
– Oh, nice! Oh, cla-clink. – [Jim-aka Kevin] It did clink a little. – [RCSparks] Oh, I like
that one, it is nice. There’s a few pieces in there now. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Woohoo! – [RCSparks] SluiceBox Lyle? – [SluiceBox Lyle] What’s up? – [RCSparks] Man, we’re
gettin’ the gold here. – [SluiceBox Lyle] Yes. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Gold! – [RCSparks] So I have a test then. – [Jim-aka Kevin] All right. – [RCSparks] If you’re really Kevin, what kinda boots did you
wear in the last episode? – [Jim-aka Kevin] Last episode
I didn’t wear, wasn’t here. You had a replacement for me. – You said he was Kevin.
– I didn’t– – An actor?
– There was no replacement. – [Rookie] Kevin was here last week. – [RCSparks] Kevin was– – [Jim-aka Kevin] No, I wasn’t. You had a poser! (water sprays) – [RCSparks] This is the
tailings off the shaker, we always run it through just in case. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Water,
water, water, more? – [RCSparks] Good job,
yep. (water trickling) Okay, fire up the table man. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Whoop! – [RCSparks] Start shakin’ away! – [Jim-aka Kevin] Heck yeah! – [RCSparks] I want four ounces, boys. – [Guys] Gold, gold,
gold, gold, gold, gold, – [RCSparks] It is Kevin! – [Guys] Gold, gold, gold, gold, gold, gold, gold, gold, gold! – [SluiceBox Lyle] We’re
gonna win this time! – [RCSparks] I see gold right there! (laughs) – [Rookie] There. (hootin’ and hollerin’)
– Oh, nice! Keep your eye on it. That’s a nice nug! – It is!
– I like it! (water babbling) (grunting excitedly)
– Oh yeah! There’s a twinkle-twinkle right away. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Heck yeah! Bring us the gold! – [RCSparks] Yeah, I see
more swirling around in here. There’s another piece.
– Yeah Yeah. Now we’re startin’ to see it. – [RCSparks] Nice, boom! There it is! Another one, and another one! And another one!
– Woohoo! – [RCSparks] And another one! (laughing) Wow! There it goes. It’s all spotted all along in here. There, there, there.
– There’s lots of gold! – Gold wheel boys, fire it up!
(hootin’ and hollerin’) – Fire it up!
– Let’s see what we got. I’m eager, I want our four ounces. We’re so close.
– I see some gold, Joe! – Bring it Buddy!
– Yep. – [Krazy Joe] Are ya happy
with your set up there? – Yep
– Bring it, bring it. – [Jim-aka Kevin] I don’t
know, we gotta see some dirt to find out. – [RCSparks] That’s true. The angle of the dangle. – Bring us some gold!
– Yeah, gold right away! – Awesome!
– Whoop! – [RCSparks] First scoop! That’s a good sign. – We’re doin’ it!
– Oh yeah, nice. Look at that! Steady stream!
– Nice, nice! – Gold, gold, gold!
– I see gold! – [Guys] Gold, gold, gold, gold! – [RCSparks] Come on, bang the nug! – Gold, gold, gold, gold!
– I wanna see that nug! Oh, I saw it! – [Krazy Joe] There ya go, boys! – [RCSparks] I saw it
(hootin’ and hollerin’) – Oh yeah!
– Yeah! – [RCSparks] It’s hiding, eh? It’s hiding! – [Rookie] Yep. – [Jim-aka Kevin] We’re
gettin’ it, we’re gettin’ it! – [Rookie] Where’s the, oh, there it goes! – [RCSparks] Is it gone? – [SluiceBox Lyle] It tried, (laughing) and then it went back into the dirt. – [RCSparks] The chunk is in there. – [Krazy Joe] It’s still in the dirt, it came up about two
ripples and then it dropped. – [RCSparks] You know what,
drop it down just a little bit. There’s a tiny little
spider right here, ooh. – There it goes!
– There it goes! – [RCSparks] Oh, nice! – [Jim-aka Kevin] Haha, yeah! – [Krazy Joe] Come on, get in there! – [RCSparks] Ah, gone! There’s some gold literally right there. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Little
tiny piece right there! – [RCSparks] Right there,
a tiny little fella. Okay, bring that up here, pop it in, we’ll try to get all the black sand out. (slurs) Fire it up! – [Rookie] Fire it up! Yeah! – The train of gold!
I love the gold train! (laughing maniacally) – Look at that!
– Awesome! – Yeah, boys!
– Whoop! – [Jim-aka Kevin] It’s
better than a Christmas tree. – Oh!
– Come on, yeah! – [RCSparks] That is satisfying! – [Rookie] That is a lot of riffle riding! – Oh my!
– Wow! – Here, let’s move this down. That’s why, there it is. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Clink, clink clink. – [Krazy Joe] Whoop! – [RCSparks] Come on,
you’re killin’ me, Rook! – [Jim-aka Kevin] Come on, Rook, hurry up! – [Rookie] Three, two, one! (tapping) (hootin’ and hollerin’) – I don’t know?
– I Think there’s three grams. – [Rookie] There’s more
than three grams there. – Just might be.
– Yeah, yeah, there’s more. – [Rookie] That’s at least eight grams. – [RCSparks] Eight grams?
– That’s eight grams. – [RCSparks] No way. (shaking and scraping) – That’s eight grams.
– Dude, that’s nice. You might be right. – [Krazy Joe] I’m gonna go six. – [Rookie] Five. – [RCSparks] I’m not guessin’, good luck. – [Krazy Joe] I’m gonna go six. – [Jim-aka Kevin] Let’s
dry it out and see. – [RCSparks] Did you put
the Jet Dry in there? – Yeah I did. – [RCSparks] Good man. Beautiful. (slurs) I don’t want you to
melt the pan this time. – [Rookie] Let me go on high. – That’s better.
– There ya go. – [RCSparks] We really should get one of those heating stoves. – Yep.
– Yes we should. (murmurs) An extension cord would be (slurs). (pan bumps) – Nice!
– Oh yeah! – [RCSparks] That is
better than I thought. Still a little bit
dampy, not to bad though. – [Rookie] It’s pretty good. – [RCSparks] Yeah, that is pretty good. – [SluiceBox Lyle] That’s
a good cleanout guys. – [RCSparks] Yeah guys. Okay, so how much did
we need on our last one to make sure that we have it? – [Rookie] We need 1.86 grams. – [RCSparks] That’s it?
– That’s it, nice. – [RCSparks] So we can
make it to four ounces. – [SluiceBox Lyle] We
killed that, we killed that. Oh yeah, we definitely have that here. – [Krazy Joe] We’re there, boys! – [RCSparks] Shall we do it? – [Jim-aka Kevin] Let’s go! – [RCSparks] Okay?
– Awesome! – [RCSparks] Zero it out. – I said eight grams.
– Yep. – [Krazy Joe] Come on!
(gold clinks) – [RCSparks] Come on,
baby! (gold clinking) Two, there it is!
(hootin’ and hollering) Six!
(screaming excitedly) Nine grams! (whooping) Dude, we got our four ounces! (mumbling) (hollering) Yeah, I can’t believe
it, we finally did it! – Heck yeah!
– Yeah! (clapping) – [RCSparks] Okay, let’s
way up the whole thing! Hold on, wait.
– Turn it back on. (button clicking) – [Guys] No! Okay, so how are we supposed
to do our final weigh in? We had a 122 grams. – [Rookie] We had a 122 grams. – [RCSparks] We got almost
10, and 10 grams right there, that’s a 132.
– 3.96 (mumbles) ounces. – That doesn’t
– We’re way over that. We know we’re there.
– We’re over four. – [Jim-aka Kevin] We have to be over. – [RCSparks] No watch battery. – [Jim-aka Kevin] No watch batteries, ugh. (gold clinks steadily) – Beautiful, man!
– Look at that, ah! – [RCSparks] So 132 (gold
clinks and scrapes) grams. – [Krazy Joe] That’s a lot of gold, man! – Oh my!
– That’s epic! – Damn!
– Boys? That’s enough, I would say that we should consider chippin’ in and get Joe his tooth, yeah? – Heck yeah!
– You don’t have– – [SluiceBox Lyle] Hell yeah! – [RCSparks] Do you wanna do that Sluice? – Not all my gold, I don’t care. (laughing) – [RCSparks] Kev? – Heck yeah!
– Do you wanna do it? – Yeah, let’s do it! – [RCSparks] Let’s get in
the truck and go, buddy! Right now, right now, right (honk) now! – Okay! (laughing) – [SluiceBox Lyle] (laughing)
How many teeth you missin’? – You wanna do it? – Let’s do it!
– Let’s go! (keys clinking) (tapping) (lively elevator music) Freiberg’s office, you sure? Last chance.
– Well, you brought me all the way over here. – [RCSparks] Last chance, you don’t wanna chicken
out now or nothin’. – [Krazy Joe] Let’s do it. – [RCSparks] How are you? – How are you guys? – [RCSparks] Good, we’ve
got an appointment here. – You must be Krazy Joe? – Yes, ma’am.
– We’ve been expecting you. (Joe sighs)
There’s that. You guys can have a seat and
I’ll let them know you’re here. – Thank you very much.
– Thank you very much. – [Receptionist] You’re welcome. – [RCSparks] Joe? – Yeah?
– Before you go in, do you want like an
almond bar or somethin’? – You can’t do that, that’s not very nice to do to a dentist. – [RCSparks] It’s in his office. Here, calm your nerves. Have a big bite of that, I’m sure the dentist
(mumbling) will love it. He gets it all the time. Well, you got fruit juice
in here, you’re lucky. – You better give me some (mumbles) – [RCSparks] Take a big bite. – Hey wait, stop, spit that out. That’s for after.
– Freiberg? (huffs) (laughing) Told you it was for after. It’s mandatory, hardhats are kept on at all times to make sure
we maintain safety here. – Do I need these too?
– I don’t know, you might. – Stick ’em up here for now. – [RCSparks] You need your
safety straps for sure though. – Well, they wanna be
able to see me, right? – Good luck, man.
– High vis and all that. – Joe, hey, Dr. Freiberg. Nice to meet you.
– Nice to meet you. – I understand your
preferred name is Krazy Joe. – Absolutely. – Okay, we can work with that. So I hear you have a
special situation here. I understand you guys have
been minin’ some gold. – That’s right. – [Dr. Sean Freiberg]
Okay. (gold clinking) What do we have–
– We have gold, baby. – We’re gonna put some of it in my mouth. – [RCSparks] Can we use
some of this gold, Freiberg? – Well, let’s take a look at it. – [RCSparks] Get ‘im a
nice chunk there, Joe. Let’s get him, well, we got the big nug. – [Dr. Sean Freiberg] Oh my gosh! – [RCSparks] Yeah, that came straight from YouTube GOLD, baby. Nice, he’s got a (laughs) Now that’s a good dentist. Real?
– Oh, yeah, that is some high quality gold. – [RCSparks] Told everybody! – Here we go. – [Dr. Sean Freiberg] All right, let’s see what you’ve done to yourself. – All right. – Now that’s a doozy. We’re gonna have to get out the big power drills to fix this. – [RCSparks] (laughs
maniacally) He’s used to that!

  1. Welcome back to the critically un-acclaimed, non award winning, pun laden, innuendo packed YouTube sensation known as GOLD, YouTube GOLD.
With the cold of winter moving in and the wear and tear of a long hard season starting to take its toll on man and machine, the crew strive to reach the dizzying heights and ever changing season goals set by the mine boss. Have the crew become victims of their own unexpected success or have they bitten off more than they can chew? Even with the seasons end fast approaching many questions still remain unanswered and new questions continue to be asked.
    Questions like:
Why do I make these silly voice over type comments?
Will Krazy Joe ever find glory at the bottom of his now moist, wet hole and will it dry out before next episode?
Can Rookie continue hitting the sweet spot when loading the conveyer?
Will Jim/Kevin ever reveal his true form?
Will site safety ever move up from #21 the list of concerns?
Will the crew manage to get the magic smoke back into the esc of their downed dozer?
Can I continue to come up with the questions no one is asking?
Will the hoe's see out the season or will they be the next to go down?
Will the mine boss continue to get his hands dirty?
Will the crew find a way to solve their shrinking, sticking, leaking, moisture related issues?
I'm running low on question I may need to reuse some of the previously asked questions?
Will Rookie find the extension cord for the heat gun?
Will the mines budget allow for new batteries for the scales?
How much gold will remain after the dentist finishes with Krazy Joe?

Tune in next week to see if I have more questions. Maybe by accident we'll get answers to some of those that have been asked. Same gold time, same gold channel.

  2. Do you plan on getting an RC4WD C2X? I just got mine and would love to see your take on a mod series, since it's based on original Axial Axles I imagine the options are insane at this point.

  3. 18:58 i swear i saw a big rock of gold that he covered and washed. Maybe im wrong though. Never mind 3 mins later they find it.

  4. Yeah, more pay than the last season, but the way the mine site is organized…..NO.
There needs to different LEVELS of operation.Top to bottom,IMO.

  5. 24 K gold is not so good for a replacement tooth OR repair.Durable gold is 18 K gold alloy.
Mix in 10 % of palladium for a long lasting tooth.

  6. The generator makes it seem like a helicopter scene, with the help of gigantic legs in the shot. Still funny. Should be on cable.

    Edit time stamp 16:04 &
    16:11 – 16:18

Make it a company advertisement. Lol………

  7. You guys never fail to make me laugh! Will we ever see a Youtube Gold with all the miners together? or would it be jut too crowded? Recently I liked the repair video of the rock crusher, the scale build video of the Samurai and i like the video where you and Wyatt built the trommel trailer It would be cool to see you fabricate some of those rusted out pieces from the shaker. can't wait to see what kind of videos will come during the snow.

  8. 10:35 Did you wrap that chain around a cylinder? Isn't that a no-no?

Just double checked episode 2. Your original goal was 3/4 of an oz and you guys were SO stoked about the clean out, which was so light compared to the latest ones.

Joe needs a lot of credit for surveying and opening up that hole. Wait, he's getting a tooth. No credit for him.

  9. Here's an idea…make full size stickers so when you (or others) see larger-than-life copies of your hard working machines they can look as cool as your equipment does (with permission from the owners of said big machines, of course). It'd be hilarious to see an excavator go by on a trailer and see a YouTube Gold sticker. Just a thought.

  10. You ROCK as a true friend if ya get Joe a TOOFERS! lolol
    Good on ya!
Dig the show… Keep on Keepin on Guys!

  15. you should look into getting an rc steam shovel or maybe start a steam shovel build series to make your own and i think you will find out that it would be more useful for loading pay into the belts and it would be cool to see some old iron with new iron

  16. Great show! Where do you guys get the pay dirt from? Sourcing yourselves or do you purchase from a pay dirt company?

  20. Great show! I’m loving YouTube Gold!

I binge watched both season over the past couple of days by myself and I’m rewatching it with my wife, she loves it too. YouTube Gold!!

I don’t know if you know this or if any other commenters have brought it to your attention but the play list for season 2 is reversed. It starts at the final episode and works to the first episode if you try and let it auto play.

  21. Should try Dry Silicone Spray in a can to weather and frees up friction and helps on corrosion. I have used it like a bug bomb in my wave runners to keep the saltwater from affecting and sticking to anything inside the hull and on the jet drive. Be worth a shot to coat all your tape and metal where your dry dirt sifting is done. Now on the shaker with spray bar, have you tried using higher pressure? Also in the 1:1 version there is a huge wash deck where the gold drops in off conveyer and gets blasted before hitting the screen deck and those bars.

Love watching the show and all your vids. Keep having fun, I'm entertained and pushs me to do new wild rc builds.
