YouTube Silver Play Button! Thank You for 100k! (Where Should I Put It?)

YouTube Silver Play Button! Thank You for 100k! (Where Should I Put It?)

– YouTube sent us a package. It’s finally here and I don’t
know if you guys know this or what this is but when you
cross 100,000 subscribers on YouTube, they send you an award. It’s kind of a thank you
for all the hard, up here, my eyes are up here, I’m gonna
open it in a just a minute. But we’re gonna open this, I’m gonna show you what this looks like. And really this video is
just a thank you video for all that you’ve done to support me and the YouTube channel. And we’re going strong. More videos coming out, we got a lot of great content coming your way, so if by chance, you
haven’t subscribed yet, make sure you subscribe. But why don’t we just cut the
fluff and open this thing? So let’s do that right now. I wonder what I looks like. Alright. Oh a little card here, what does it say? Congratulations on your
subscriber milestone, we are honored to take part in
recognizing your achievement and want your experience
to be exceptional. Thank you YouTube. This award was inspected and packaged with great care by Clark. Thank you Clark. We got a little note here. And oh, look at that. Yes, that is so sweet. I’ll pull that out in just a moment. But from YouTube, nice
little message here. You’ve just done something that very few YouTube creators accomplish. You had an astonishing 100,000 people subscribe to your channel. We know that numbers on
YouTube can get really big but we hope that you don’t lose sight of the reality behind
that six-digit milestone. Each and every person who has
subscribed to your channel, it’s you, has been touched
by what you created, they were inspired,
challenged, or entertained, hopefully maybe all three. You achieved this
milestone with hard work, perseverance and probably a
healthy sense of humor too. What you’ve accomplished
can’t be taken away from you and we’d like to recognize
you and all your hard work with the silver creator award. A small token of our steam and respect. We know that you don’t
do this for rewards, although that’s pretty
cool to get a reward, you do it because you have
a drive to create and share, and because you found
an audience who cares. Believe us when we say that we can’t wait to see what you do next. A million subscribers may
seem a long way off right now, but you’re closer than you think and we’re rooting for you,
congratulations, yours sincerely, YouTube, Susan Wojcicki. I can’t say her last
name, I’m sorry Susan. But thank you so much for
this, I appreciate it. And to all of you at
YouTube, and to all of you, YouTube subscribers out there,
this means the world to me. When you get to a million subscribers, you get the gold plaque. And then when you get to
10 million I think, right? You get like a gold, or
like a diamond shaped thing. So let’s pull this out. Look at that. Let’s see. This is wonderful. And for those of you who might remember getting 200,000 subscribers
was a big goal of mine when we started going full-on with YouTube at the start of this year here. So to get this in our
hands so early in the year, just absolutely means the world to me. So I think there’s nothing left to do but put this up, and they did spell my name correctly which is great. And this will be proudly displayed somewhere here in the office. So what I want you all to do
and Caleb, I have this idea. We’re gonna see if this will work. Yes, hear me out. (laughs) I want those of you watching,
to help me figure out where might be the best place
to place this in the office. So I’m gonna give you 10
different spots, really quickly. And in the comment section below, let me know which one
you would like to see. I don’t know if I’m gonna actually take you up on your suggestion ’cause you might pick the
silliest one but anyway. Here are the 10 suggestions
on where we might be able to place this in the office, go. Right when you walk in, like right here. Alright, how ’bout up here
in the thank you wall? How about here, on this really
weird angle in the office? How about here on the glass? Uh, right here on the door. How about up here next to Bernie. Yeah, not in the bathroom. What about at the top
of the door, like this? What about here? What about here? What about here? So yeah, let me know what you think in the comment section below. And again, just thank you so
much for all of your support, this means the world to me and I cannot wait ’til we get that gold one at a million subscribers. And I appreciate you. See you in the next video. Click over here or somewhere on the screen for any of the other videos
that you can dive into. Thanks again.

  1. Congratulations Pat! Well done! Hang it either where you walk in (for motivation) or on that second last option which was that vertical metal construction. In both cases, you should then have space for others that you will hopefully add.

  2. The award should put wherever you can see it while you're working, so it can remind you of what you've accomplished whenever you're feeling overwhelmed. I did that with my Computer Science diploma, since it was such a struggle for me to earn 10+ years ago. It reminds me of what I can accomplish with daily focus over time.

  3. Congratulation Pat! Thank you for all the help and encouragement you share with me/us. Oh ya, but the award on the rear license plate mount of your car. Tells the world you are a good coach to follow πŸ˜‰ .

  4. congrats! Hmmm, kinda liked it on the wood wall in the studio. But maybe not right in the middle… should be more modestly placed to the side, something that's not "in your face" but still there.

  5. I like the top of the door leading into the studio … good reminder of the awesome content you've created and will create en route to 1 million! Congrats.

  6. How exciting! I hope to receive one of those for my channel some day. That's my goal! I think it should go in number 6 πŸ™‚

  7. I don't know if you've been keeping up on current events or not but all your hard work can be taken away from you in a second. YouTube ganks channels everyday with more subs than you have and without notice or explanation. Keep sucking up buttercup but it won't make any difference…

  8. hahah you said the office…. i was going to say at the coffee shop you're always at. We always see you but don't wanna bug you, lol! Congrats on this award. That is so cool!

  9. It was too fast to see all of the choices, but I liked the top of the door too. Although, if it's up there, you can't give it a fist bump each time you see it. Or maybe you can just carry it around with you. :p Congrats!

  10. I'm so happy for you and your team! Congratulations on this amazing accomplishment and I look forward to watching many more amazing videos. My recommendation for the plaque placement is either on the studio wall or above the artwork! I'm rooting for 1M milestone!

  11. I know I know,
Attach it to a ball cap so you can hang it on your forehead!
Yeah, that's where you should hang it.
    πŸ˜‰
    Congratulations Pat! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

  12. Place it on the Place where you see the most. So, you get motivated Everytime you see it. And BTW Congratulations for 100k.

  13. Congratulations Pat, thanks for all your great videos on Youtube. Inspiring, useful, awesome. A well-deserved trophy.

  14. Congrats on reaching your goal Pat! I think it'd look great on the Thank You wall, plus it makes sense to go there for a number of reasons. Good luck on reaching 1 million subscribers!

  15. Congratulations Pat! You deserve it!! You're a mentor for us… I'll put over the draw in the wall!

  16. Congratulations!!! Very cool accompaniment. My first choice is above the studio door so it reminds you how far you've come. Second choice is odd wall. It needs some love.

  17. Congrats Pat! You are such an inspiration and it was SO cool to get to hear what that letter from Susan from YouTube said. It made me like YT so much more and has helped reignite my own fire within to continue working on my channel.

P.s. My vote for where to hang the plaque is that you put it somewhere at your kids’ eye level. It would be a cool way to show them you were thinking of them at your studioβ€” and as a result there’s always the chance of them taking a greater interest in really understanding what the plaque represents. Congrats again!

  18. Very impressive, Pat. Thank you for sharing this moment. You do so much for everyone that it's great to see you receiving well deserved recognition. I hope you place the award between your two framed game posters. I really appreciate you, Pat. Sincerest thanks.

  19. Position 1! Congratulations Pat and thank you for all you do. I love the design of the new YouTube award BTW. Yours is this first I have seen πŸ‘

  20. You should put it at #9!!!!! But the new license plate is pretty fun too…….πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…πŸ™‚

  21. Create an authority site where people go for answers to their play button questions. Monetize the site with Google ads and partner with similar companies in the vertical, recommending their products for a percentage of sales. It won't be easy but after a few months of hard, concentrated work, you should be able to earn a passive income from PatsPlayButton.com. I'm rooting for you!

  22. Either the weird angle wall or the shelf by your Back to the Future framed poster. Congrats!!! Very cool πŸ™‚

  23. Congrats Pat! You should put the play button in your studio on the wood back, then we get to see it in your videos!

  24. I'm only 9963subs away 😁 congrats. . I think I've sent more people to your channel than to mine, that's how much I appreciate your work.

  25. I think in the hall on the way to the studio like a musician might put a platinum album. Then you can add the gold and diamond next to it WHEN you get there. Congrats!

  26. Congrats Pat! I know you were a big proponent of Podcast for many years. Now that you have also embraced Youtube, how would you advise us to choose the medium to use, between video and podcast, if we are start out today in 2018?
